	MODERNIST HOGAN BOLAS SET Eye-catching, Modernist, brass on copper pendant and screwback earring set with enameled accents. All pieces are marked: "HOGAN BOLAS". While they were students at RISD in the late 1940's, Robert Hogan and Deborah Bolas started and successfully ran a small jewelry business in Rhode Island until it was sold in 1992. They produced jewelry designs in copper and brass using a mixture of hand and machine work. They very successfully produced and sold thousands of pieces of enameled jewelry for more than a decade.
