Gerda Lynggaard is known for her dramatic, large-scale jewelry designs incorporating natural materials such as horn, wood, bone, and shells. She and her husband Nikolai Monies established the Monies Company workshop together, and in June 2006 they opened their flagship store at Nordre Toldbod 19, on Copenhagen's waterfront.
